The Book of Unhidings, also known as the Unhidings of Holy Yon, the Unheeling of Yon, and the Unheeling of Yesow Christ, is the last book to gain church blessing anent the New Kitheness. It is the only book in Christendom's holy book that is wholly made up of the unfolding tale about the Endtimes.
Name[]
Although now known as the Book of Unhidings, the name found on some of the earliest handwrits is The Unhidings of Yon, and the most oft found name on later handwrits is The Openbaring of the Godloresman. In the Greekish tung in which it was written, the book is called Ἀποκάλυψις, for that is their word for unheeling. Some later handwrits eke "Gospeller" or "Apostle" to the name. Found also in the book's opening lines are the words "The Unheeling of Yesow Christ", whence comes one of the names for the book.
Fit 1[]
The Unhidings of Yesow Christ, which God gave Him to show His bondsmen things which must shortly happen; and He sent and betokened it by His errandghost to His bondsman Yon:
Who bore an errandwrit of the word of God, and of the witness of Yesow Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Blessed is he who reads, and they that hear the words of this foretelling, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Yon to the seven churches which are in Asey: Hield be unto you, and frith, from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Ghosts which are before His highseat;
And from Yesow Christ, who is the steadfast witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the atheling of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
And has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be mearth and lordship for ever and ever. Soothly.
Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, even they who gored Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail as of him. Even so, Soothly.
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," says the Lord, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
I, Yon, who also am your brother, and fellow in hard times, and in the kingdom and tholemoodness of Yesow Christ, was in the iland that is called Patmus, for the word of God, and for the witness of Yesow Christ.
I was in the Ghost on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great steven, as of a horn,
Saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last," and "What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches in Asey; to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamus, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphy, and to Laodicea."
And I went to see the steven that spoke with me. And being went, I saw seven golden glimsticks;
And in the midst of the seven glimsticks one like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a weed down to the foot, and girt about the breast with a golden girdle.
His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a blaze of fire;
And His feet like done brass, as if they burned in a hearth; and His steven as the loud of many waters.
And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and His ansen was as the sun shines in its strength.
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last:
I am He who lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Soothly; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
The mistihood of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden glimsticks. The seven stars are the errandghosts of the seven churches: and the seven glimsticks which you saw are the seven churches."
