A bridge tung, between tung, or link tung (English: bridge language, link language, auxiliary language, or lingua franca) is a tung through which folks who do not share an inborn tung can talk with each other, above all when it is sundered from both of the speakers' inborn tungs. Today, the English tung is one of the world's main bridge tungs.
