Cadell III (died GÆ 1175) was first of ðe Kingdom of Southrich in Southweſt Wales.

Cadell was ðe ſon of King Gruffydd II of Southrich, who held ſunder of ðe Kingdom of Southrick with ðe lave in ðe hands of ſundry Normaniſh lords. Gruffydd died in GÆ 1137 and Cadell's broðer Anarawd took over ðe highſeat. Cadell erſt eyeſhines in ðe bygoing logs ðe following year, when he helped his broðer King Anarawd, King Owain II of Whitland and his broðer Cadwladog Atheling in a ſtrike on Horeyford Stronghold.

In GÆ 1143 King Anarawd was murdered by Cadwladog Atheling's men, and Cadell took over as first of Southrick, aſſingeling ðe work Anarawd had ſtarted in befeal to win back ðe lave of his eldfaer's kingdom. In GÆ 1146 he awinned ðe ſtrongholds of Mertonburgh (amending it and athaving it for rimal years) and Stavenland. In ðe following year he beſyed Walter Fitzwiz. In GÆ 1150 he turned north and edforeheld ſouthern Horeylingen, which had been held for Whitland by King Hywel IV of Whitland.

Cadell's calling was overtfully ended in GÆ 1151. When out hunting, he was ſtruck by a Normaniſh thrack from Fishburghlet, who left him deeming him to be dead. In truth he Template:Oved, but was ſo badly wounded as to be unable to edwend to his deeds. In GÆ 1153 he left on a bead-faring to Rome, leaving ðe rede of Southrick to his younger broðers Maredudd and Rhys. Cadell is not heard again until GÆ 1175, when he inwent ðe faerſted of Flowerdale after a long illneſs and died ðere.
