Puss and Butterfly

Here, a cat putting a flinder to flight, showing one of each of the two main kinds of deer.

Wightlore (English: zoology) is the share of lifelore that deals with the lore of living wights. There are two kinds : ridged wightlore, for thoss with a backbone, such as birds, milkwights, fish and crawlers. The other is ridgeless wightlore, for bugs, crabs, snails, squid, worms and namby-pambies.
