Cricket is a game between two teams of eleven players, each who score runs by running between two sets of three small, wooden polls called wickets. Each set is at one end of a fournook of dry, flattened grass called the "pitch", which lies in the middle of a much wider egg-shaped lawn called the cricket ground.
