Finland was settled by the Comb Clay Folk umb 4,000 BC.
The Finnish tung is one of the oldest in Europe, born 2,500 years ago after having split from Sami (spoken in the north of the land).
Most of Finland is made up of fur weald.
The swan, which was huyed as holy long ago, is the land bird of Finland.
There are almost 180,000 lakes in Finland.
Fandlers from all over the world come to see the fells and the northern lights in Lapland.
