Antigua and Barbuda is a land in the West Indish lands in the Americas, found between the Caribish Sea and the Atlantish Ocean. It is made up of two greater ilands, Antigua and Barbuda, and a reckoning of lesser ilands (including Great Bird, Green, Manywater, Long, Maiden and Everwick Ilands and further south, Wheelshaped Iland). The iland of Antigua was found by Christoffer Columbus in 1493 and named for the Church of Holy Mary the Antigua. was taken over by Briten in 1632; Barbuda was first settled in 1678. Antigua and Barbudafit in the West Indishlands Band in 1958. With the break-up of the band, it became one of the West Indlands Linked-Up Riches in 1967. Following by self-lawmoot in its inner business, selfstandingness was given from the Oned Kingdom on 1st Fogmonth 1981.
