Gotland is a shire (Swedish län), township and bishoprich of Sweden and the greatest island in the Baltish Sea. The island has 61,023 wonners (as of 2024), of which about 23,600 live in Visby, the main town.
Stearly, there was a speechsundering between the island and the mainland with Gutnish being the inlandish tongue. However in latter yearhundreds, Swedish has taken over almost fully, becoming the only spoken tongue for most of the island's wonners.
