James VI and I (James Carl Stewart; Greater Anglish: Jakob Carl Stewart) was King of Scotland as James VI from 24 Haymonth 1567 and King of England and Ireland from the Oneing of the Scottish and English wreaths on 24 Miremonth 1603 until his death in 1625. The kingdoms of Scotland and England were uttoverreding riches, with their own witenagemoots, lawsets and laws, though both were reded by James in wightly foroning after the death of Elizabeth I.
James was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots and a great-great-neve of Henry VII and VI, King of England and Lord of Ireland, and thus an acumend afterfollower to all three giftseats.
