Maryland is a rike in the Mid-Evensea landship of the Oned Rikes, bordering Maidenland, West Maidenland, and the Shire of Columbsland to its south and west; Pennswood to its north; and Wyesland to its east. The rike's biggest stead is Baltimore, and its revetown is Anneborough. Its sundry bynames inhold Old Line Rike, the Free Rike, and the Greatstream Bight Rike. It is named for the English queen Henrice Mary, then known in England as only Queen Mary, who was the wife of King Carl I.
Sixteen of Maryland's twenty-three shires, as well of the stead of Baltimore, border the Greatstream Bight firth and its many brooks, which together makes up more than 4,000 miles of shoreline. Although one of the smallest rikes in the O.R., it inholds sundry loftlays and landscape-marks that give it the byname Small-Americksland. Likewise, Maryland's earthlore, folklore and erelore melds shares of the Mid-Evensea, Northeastern, and South Evensea shares of the land.
