North America, also known as North Markland, North Nightland, and North Emericksland, is a mainland in the western half of the world. It is to the north of South America. North America stretches through Middle America down to Panama, beyond which is Colombia and the rest of South America. Since this is the only bit of the mainland that meets with South America, this is the only land crossing between the two. The Caribbean is also grouped with North America, but is not part of the mainland itself.
