The Northumberish landspeech or Northumbrish tung is a West Theedish tung which comes from the Northumberish byleid of Old English. It is sometimes reckoned to be its own selfstanding tung, namely by the Northumberish Leid Fellowship, but others reckon it to be a byleid of English.
It is spoken foremostly, if not only, in the English shires of Northumberland and Durham in the North East of England. It is most tightly sibbed to the Lowland Scottish tung spoken in Lowland Scotland with which it has many words of shared upspring.
