Palestine is one of many names for the land between the Wendlesea and the Jordan ea. The name was at first given to the shoreland about the harbour towns of Gaza, Ashdod, and Ashkelon. Today, some of the same land is within the land of Israel.

Palestine is also an unreckoning land unreckoned with Israel, it's made up of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
