The pig, swine, or hog is a stour behoused evenhooved deer kept mostly for their meat, though its bones, hide, and bristles are also brooked in tradeware. Like their wild forebearers, pigs are alleaters, sundry from most evenhooves. Olddomlorely bewise has shown that pigs were likely behoused from wild boar from as early as 13,000 BC in the Near East and then again sundrily in Midric in 8,000 BC. The does are known as gilts or sows, the bucks as hogs, barrows, or stags, and the young are known as shoats or piglings.
