Wineberry is a climbing wort, belonging to the kin Vitaceae. Its berries grow in clusters of 6 to 300, and can be black, blue, gold, green, woad, red and white. They can be eaten whole, either plump or dry, though many are made into wine.

The main kind of wineberry for making wine in Eveland is Vitis Vinifera.
