Timeline[edit | edit source]
It is thought that the earliest writing was made by the Sumerians, who wrote with staffs made up from wedge-shaped marks, and was grown by the Babyloners, Assyrians, Neshites, Persians, and many others.
Slightly after the Sumerians began writing, the Egyptians crafted a new writing of their own. Over the years the staffs of Egyptian writing othered in shape and meaning. From this, though at great length, came our own hoard of bookstaffs.
Furthermore, it's makedo that the Indlandcould have eked a sundering of writing based on strange slabs with unknown tokens left behind by the Hilldalers.
